John Kosovich Wines has forged a reputation for outstanding white wines. In particular, our Chardonnay and Verdelhos have been recognized amongst the best that the industry has to offer. Our current release of white wines continue this fine tradition.
2004 Late Picked Verdhelo
The grapes for this wine were left on the vines a little longer to fully riper for this sweeter style. The fruit was hand picked at 14 Be and fermentation stopped after 3 weeks leaving a residual sugar level of 30 grams/litre. Green straw in colour with spicy, honeysuckle aromas and full ripe fruit flavour. Enjoy as an aperitif or with a fresh fruit salad.
2004 Chenin Blanc
A classic Swan Valley variety. This is a soft elegant and well balanced wine offering a rich aromatic bouquet. Fresh, crisp and lively on the finish showing melon and tropical fruit flavours
2007 Unwooded Chardonnay
A delightful chablis style wine vintaged from fruit grown on Swan Valley vineyard. Bottled young after maturation in stainless steel tanks to retain freshness and fruit flavours. Green straw colour. Aromas of pineapple, peach and melon. Excellent fruit flavour balanced by crisp acid. The palate has good length finishing very soft and dry. A wine that drinks well young, but will reward the discerning buyer with 5 years of careful cellaring.
2007 Verdelho
Outstanding example of this floral aromatic variety. The high natural acid ensures that the rich mouth filling flavours are balanced by a fresh and crisp finish. Drinking well as a young wine and will develop beautiful honeyed characters with cellaring

2006 Chardonnay
This wine offers upfront aromas of honey, mineral tones and lovely sweet oak. The fruit flavours combine tropical hints, buttery texture and punchy ripe fruit. The wine in mouth filling and rich, with excellent balance of oak and a tight acid structure, which leads to a clean and elegantly refined finish, reflecting the cool nature of the growing conditions of the 2006 vintage. This wine will reward with careful cellaring up to 12 years.
